MaxLinear’s fully integrated, single-chip, MoCA 2.0 and MoCA 2.5 compliant solutions provide multi-gigabit coaxial connectivity. These ICs allow cable operators and service providers to deliver a new level of whole-home IP and data services using coax cable. As one of the inventors of the standard, MaxLinear’s MoCA 2.0 and MoCA 2.5 solutions deliver complete MAC, PHY, analog and RF transceiver and front-end functionality supporting both HD video and data across the MoCA backbone. These solutions feature advanced power management functionality, including wake-on-MoCA for reduced power consumption and advanced network reliability functionality allowing operators to meet quality of service (QoS) obligations.
The MaxLinear G.hn Wave-2 Product Family provides high-speed networking capabilities over any wired medium, including powerlines, phone lines/twisted-pair and coaxial cables. With physical data rates up to 2Gbps, the MaxLinear G.hn Wave-2 platform is the fastest G.hn solution in the industry.
The solution includes three options for G.hn baseband processor (88LX5152, 88LX5153, and 88LX5153A) and three options for G.hn Analog Front End (88LX2720, 88LX2730, and 88LX2741), providing system designers with flexibility to mix and match footprint-compatible components to address multiple G.hn applications in the consumer, broadband, industrial and security segments.
An evaluation kit is available for each wired medium; powerline, phone line/twisted-pair and coaxial cable. These kits include everything needed to evaluate the real world performance of our industry leading G.hn technology
